SOLD!!!

Okay, so our house was only on the market (and I mean on the MLS) for a week and a half. We got 1 offer, turned it down with a counter offer and they didn't accept. A day or two later, we got another offer, we countered and they accepted! I can't believe it! I thought it would at least take a few months, but I just know that the time is right and that everything will work out! I am just so amazed at how good I feel about the whole thing--no real apprehensions!

To answer some of your questions, we are going to stay in Rigby. We just feel like this area is where we need to be--and it is "home" to us. We are looking in to a couple pieces of land right around here, but nothing concrete yet. We have picked out a floor plan we like and we have a couple of friends who build houses, plus a friend who is a banker and does real estate loans/mortgages and another friend who works for a lending company!

In the meantime, we will be renting a house about a mile and a half away. It is an older home, but it has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen--all the necessities! And it has a fenced yard and a garage! This will be an adventure!

Something will work out in the end--of that I am sure--it is just a matter of time. We will keep you posted, but we will be busy for the next little bit--packing, cleaning--you know the drill!

congrats, that is very cool. Are you taking the wood floor with you? just kidding. When do you hope to start building?

I only WISH we could be taking the wood floor--that is my favorite part of this house--it makes me sad to leave it! We just got preapproved yesterday, so as soon as we find some land and get our house plans tweaked the way we want, we hope to start building.

Rigby!?! Finally getting out of the college town huh? Rigby seems like a nice place. I have a few co-workers living there. Good luck building :)
