Mr. Yearsley had a farm . . . E-I-E-I-O

Okay, so we have some new additions to add to our lil "family." The first is our colt, Jax. We bought him a little while back and he has been great company for Pepper, our other horse.

Next, we bought two calves--the kids named them T-Bone and Jake (had it been up to Ben and me, we would have named them T-bone and Sirloin--oh well!). We are trying to bucket train them so we can be finished with bottle feeding them. We decided calves would be a good way to help teach the kiddos how to work--sound familiar to anyone???

And lastly, we have four new puppies. This is Tess's (our dog) second batch of puppies. They are almost two weeks old (so four more weeks and we can get rid of them! Want one???).

So there you have it. We have 3 kids, 2 horses, 2 calves, and 5 dogs. Wow!

you might be able to start your own petting zoo if you keep adding additions to the family! Looks like fun.

Love the new blogs! What an exciting life you have, with new additions and all. I am glad I get to see it. Guess where my parents are spending their vacation? In Rexburg, of all places. Maybe I can get you guys in touch. That would be fun.

How fun! We will have to go to your house while we are there this month. The boys would love seeing all the animals!

Do you want a kitten to add to the mix?

Our own petting zoo...now that's a great idea for a side business! And I wouldn't even have to leave!

Candi, I can't believe they came here of all places! I would love to see them if they have a second!

Janae, the kids have been dying to have a cat! I am beginning to think that I might be allergic to them, but if you were to bring one, we would have no choice but to keep it. See you soon!

Holy Moly Lady! You are one busy woman to have kids and then throw in a bunch of animals! I bet the kids love it though and that makes it all worth it:)

Lisita! I had no idea you were such an animal lover! (well from the sound of it...such a carnivor!!!) We'll have to try to make it up to Rexburg on our next trip out that way - my son would LOVE your "petting zoo!"
