A Tribute to Dads

Upon the upcoming arrival of Father's Day, I thought I would make a tribute to those dads in our lives, whom we love and appreciate so much! WARNING: Read on at your own risk--some mushiness included! ;)
First, there are our fathers. I am so grateful for the life lessons they have taught us, and in return, we can teach own children. I am also grateful for the memories I have of family togetherness. Thank you for loving and teaching us the way you did--for teaching us the Gospel and the importance of it, for teaching us to work, and for being a good example for us to follow. We are also grateful for the good grandfathers you are to our children--they absolutely adore you!
Next, there is my amazingly wonderful husband. I am so blessed to have you in my life! Thank you for the man you are--for the amazing husband and father and friend you are to us! We love you more and more every day! I so appreciate the way you can always make us laugh, the way you teach with love, the time you spend with us and the sacrifices you make on our behalf. You are the best!
I also want to mention a mutual father we ALL have-- our Heavenly Father! How blessed we are to know of the existence of a loving Father in Heaven. How grateful I am to have the gospel in my life and to know of Him, and for all He has done for each of us!
Happy Father's Day to all of the dads in our lives! We love you!

That is great. I wish I wouldn't have read your Father's Day post until I wrote mine, because you said it just how I want to, and now I'll just end up copying you. So, sorry for the pledgerizing. Great post though.

Thanks for doing this post. I gotta go get to work on one of my own now, I wouldn't have thought of it if it weren't for you!

I say Amen to both you and Marlo. I am also very glad that the guys have each other to keep them on the strait and narrow, not that any of them would drift off, but it's always nice to have support. So, are you guys in for Friday night? Brad said we all should get sitters and go out. What do you think?
