Spray Park and more . . .

Okay, here goes the beginnings of the updating! A few weekends ago, the Yearsley family had a family reunion. It was a lot of fun being together with everyone!

We started out on Friday morning at the Rexburg temple. Candace, Dustan, and Bailee were sealed--it was really neat! What a blessing to be in the temple with family! (I would post pics from the temple, but I didn't take any, and I haven't gotten any from anyone else yet). Then we headed over to Porter Park / Spray Park for lunch and fun! The kids gobbled up their food and changed clothes, got sunblock on, and off they went! Cami was pretty bummed that she couldn't go down the slide (although she did once with her dad's permission), but I showed her that she could play in the "sprays" off to the sides of the slide, and then she was quite happy! Hayden gave us a great scare when he ran off and we couldn't find him--it turned out that he wanted to go swing, so he headed over to the playground toys. We were SOOOO relieved to find him! When everyone was done playing, we headed out to Hamer/the campground for the night (we put up our tents in Ben's parents backyard). On the way out, the kids fell into a deep sleep--they wore themselves out already and we were just getting started!!! We played Bingo and had family pictures that night. For dinner, we roasted hot dogs and some made smores. The kids surprisingly went to bed pretty easily--it was so nice!

Saturday we were headed off to American Falls Reservoir to play in the water! What fun! Some left early to pick up the jet ski and to bow hunt carp. The rest of us arrived around noon and got lunch ready and kids fed. Then we were off to play in the water! We had a great time! After we wore ourselves out, we returned home to Hamer and had a dutch oven cook off--YUMMY!!! Our family left to come home so Ben could return to work on Sunday....

However, the kids and I drove back out to Hamer on Sunday to spend some more time with the family before they all left.

We had a great time with everyone! Can't wait 'til next year!

I am having issues uploading the pictures, so you will just have to wait for them! Hopefully tomorrow I can get them to upload! Then I will finish my updating!

Sounds like a lot of traveling, but still quite a good time with all that family fun. It's always nice when the kids do so much during the day that they fall asleep really fast. Those are good times.
