A Few Things I Want to Write About

Okay, so there are just a couple of things I wanted to post--so I don't forget, and since this is mainly my journal, I am putting it here. Feel free to skip over this if you would like.

Cami is getting baptised in 2 weeks! I can hardly believe our little girl is old enough! She went to see the bishop yesterday before church for her baptismal interview. That morning she told me, "Mom, and I'm not even going to be scared!" Good deal--there's nothing to be afraid of anyway, right? So after her interview, she tells me, "Mom, when I went into the Bishop's office, I was like shaking!" Me: "Why, were you scared?" Cami: "Kind of. But then I wasn't scared anymore. It was my first time!" She is so excited to be baptised! I am so proud of the good kid she is!

Jenna loves to bear her testimony! She was so funny yesterday! We were sitting in sacrament meeting and she asked me if she could bear her testimony today. I told her she could, but she had to wait until it was time. So we are sitting there and the kids listen for the first little bit, then get occupied coloring or whatever. Well, the end of sacrament meeting rolls around (just before the closing song), and I leaned over to tell Jenna that she needed to put her stuff away. She looks at me and bursts into tears! "But I didn't get to bear my testimony!" I thought that maybe she had changed her mind during the meeting or whatever, and so I told her that she could do it next time. Well that didn't work! She was so upset! She cried for the rest of sacrament meeting and the first bit of Primary. I ended up at the Bishop's office to sign a baptismal permission slip for Cami and he talked to her. She finally settled down. She is such a sweet little girl! I am glad she has a testimony and that she wants to share it!

Hayden is a funny boy! Last night he kept coming up to me and wrapping his arms around my neck in a hug, and squeezing as hard as he could. "I give you BIG hugs, mommy!" What a sweet kid!

I am so thankful for my children! They are such a blessing in my life! We are so blessed with such good kids! I love you!
