Kim Yearsley Family Reunion

Last weekend we had the Kim Yearsley family reunion...Ben and his immediate family. The kids and I went and Ben had to work--as he put it, "I was slaving away to bring home the bacon!" We are so lucky to have him! ;)

We started out at Green Canyon swimming. Dallie and I watched from behind the fence. The kids didn't want to leave, of course, but we were off to the next event! On the way back to Hamer, we stopped in Newdale to say hello to Grandpa and Grandma Robinson. It was so good to see them--it has been too long! Upon our arrival in Hamer, we had some dinner, set up tents and had a talent show--most of the kids participated--Chase was the announcer, Trey did a head stand, Cami sang a song and told a story, Layton bounced a ball on his head, Jenna did a cartwheel, and Hayden sang a silly song. It was fun to watch the kids! Diana slept in our tent with the kids, and Dallie and I took over her room in the house. The next morning, the kids were all up before 6! YIKES! We enjoyed a very yummy breakfast of bacon, salami, pancakes and eggs and OJ. Then we ventured off to the Modoc to go fishing and ride motorcycles and the four wheeler. There weren't many fish caught, but lots of fun rides, visiting and a snake was found! We went back home and ate dutch oven dinner and birthday cake--Happy Birthday Janae! Mmmm mmmm good! Sunday was church and lunch and more visiting and back home! Ben took the kids out on Sunday (I woke up sick in the middle of the night) and took Matt and Janae on a tour of the house on the way home. Thanks everyone for your help with our kids and for a good time!
