Crafting, Hair, and More...

The last month has keep me busy! I helped my friend, who is the room mother for Jenna's kindergarten class, with a gift--an apron, for Mrs. Rasmussen for Teacher appreciation week. This is how it turned out. It was fun to make!

Then i had another apron to decorate for Girl's Weekend with all of the Yearsley women. I thought it ended up looking pretty good, but that blasted apron! gave me so much trouble!
And I've been trying to finish Dallie's quilt--that was supposed to be her Christmas present, before her birthday so I can wrap it up...I still have just a little bit of sewing left to do on it, then I have LOTS of clipping to do, but the end is in sight! I'm excited to see it in her room finally! :)
As for our hair (besides the fact that I have grass in my hair right now), Cami and Jenna both got hair cuts--Cami's is about the same, just shorter, and Jenna has a slight A-line. I also got a cut--just added in some layers and trimmed it. But I also colored my hair...I went dark. I wanted to get rid of the blond--since I don't keep up with it like I should, and go closer to my natural color. It turned out darker than I had originally wanted, but I really like it. What do you think?
Dallie's new favorite things to do are climbing in and out of the laundry basket (and getting pushed around) and climbing up and down the stairs all by herself--she has finally figured out how to crawl over to the stairs and turn around and go down backward by herself! Yay! I love this picture, too. It's kinda gross, I know. But D is our little chipmunk! When she eats, she shoves her entire mouth full of food and keeps on adding more. Amazingly enough, she gets it all swallowed okay--I don't know how she does it! She is such a fun kid!
