Happy Birthday to Jenna!

Our little Jenna turned 6 last month! Happy happy birthday to you!
I can still remember holding her as a sweet little baby...the time goes all too quickly! Jenna is still our smiley and happy little girl and we love her very much!
Jenna had a fun birthday this year...she was chosen to have the "friend party" this year (since we are only doing one of those a year now). I was trying to come up with a fun party idea, and one day she told me, "Mom for my friend party, we are going to have so much fun! We are going to play hide & seek, duck, duck, goose, sleepy monster...I just can't wait!" Right then and there, I thought, Wow! I don't have to plan some amazing party...she just wants to play games with her friends--EASY! So we made a cute invitation (thank you Kari!!) and waited for the big day!
And here we have the partiers! Jenna invited four friends, Macee, Eliza, Alison, & Shylee. They ended up playing duck, duck, goose until everyone arrived. Then they played hide & seek, followed by a balloon relay race. Next up PRESENTS! What kid doesn't love presents?!!?! And of course we had to decorate cupcakes and sing happy birthday! They played until their moms came! Then we hurried to get ready for the family birthday party...we had some very yummy velveeta mac 'n cheese and chicken strips and broccoli for dinner and extra yummy fairy mint ice cream cake for dessert (aka grasshopper pie). And what birthday would be complete without birthday spankings?! Thank you everyone for helping us celebrate our sweet Jenna! Happy birthday!
