Jenna learned how to ride her bike without training wheels this summer! She is doing so well...and only has an occasional crash...

Next up was Father's Day! We are so grateful and blessed for the Fathers in our lives! I made a few tasty treats to share with the father's around here.

We had a great time at the Yearsley Family Reunion at Thousand Springs Resort. A BIG thank you to Matt & Janae for planning this year's reunion! The first night was quite the event as we had a sudden rain storm that sent us all inside our tents early on. We had a great time playing bocce ball, swimming, fishing, "soaking feet" in the river, visiting (of course!), eating (it wouldn't be a reunion without food!), hiking (Ben and Chase), visiting the alligator farm, trying to touch the sturgeon, and fireworks. I took a LoT of pictures, but will only post a few of my favorites.
Sitting around the campfire before the rainstorm

Getting cookies from Grandma

Cousins sitting on the dock soaking their feet (they spent a lot of time there)

Ben, Dallie & McKay

Hayden shaving with his melted fork

Chase holding the carp that someone caught (I thought he caught it, but someone said it was Grandpa instead)

Trying to touch the sturgeon at the fish hatchery

Alligator Farm (don't they look SO excited to be there!)

Bocce Ball tournament

Ben, Matt, & Dustan lighting some fireworks

SpArKlErS!!! Jenna & Hayden doing sparklers

Happy birthday, America!!! We celebrated the 4th a couple times this year. First, we spent the day in Hamer with the Yearsleys, and Gpa, Gma and the kids made the four-wheeler and trailer into a float for the BIG Hamer parade. They all rode together and even threw some candy! Mom & Dad and Dallie watched on the sidelines and picked up some candy for the kiddos. We watched fireworks at Gpa & Gma Yearsley's house. Then, on Monday, we went to the Menan parade and park fair. We were going to go to the Menan fireworks as well, but we were all too tired! (Sorry, no pics of the Menan festivities!).
