Alright, we left home and drove to Paul for a visit with Janae and the boys. We stayed for an hour and drove on to Nampa and stayed the night in a hotel and drove the rest of the way the next day. It was a long drive, but the kids did so well! I was impressed--especially since I was so stressed about the long trip without Ben to help me! I am so thankful for good kids who are willing to help out with their little sister!
I dare say that Grandpa was pretty excited to see all of us when we arrived...as well as the other way around!
One of the first things we did was to go for a ride on the 4-wheelers. I think that was one of the highlights of the trip for the kids! They loved every chance they had to go for a ride! Cami was pretty excited that Grandpa showed her how to drive the 4-wheeler! And Hayden loved to help Grandpa go water the corn.
On day 2 in WA, we went to Howard Amon Park and the kids played in the kiddie pool for a little while before we went and visited Grandma Bleazard! Oh how I've missed her! It was fun to be able to see her and visit with her for a little bit, though I wish we could have spent more time with her while we were there and play some games with her...but they were off to Casie's wedding, so we enjoyed what time we had! And what a fun surprise to have Brittani arrive at Grandma's at the same time as us, so we got to see her and meet Russell.

Next up, we took the kids to the water park in Moses Lake. We had so much fun! This was another highlight of the trip for the kids. I think they would have gone back every day if we'd have taken them! We swam, floated in the lazy river, went down slides &played on toys, and Cami and I went down the big slide. It was a lot of fun!

When we got back that night, I met up with some old friends--Jin Muse, Stacey Wray, and Allison Matthews. Cami wanted to come, so we hurried to clean up and headed on over to the Muse's. It was a quick, but fun visit...and long overdue!

We took the kids on a long 4-wheeler ride down to the Columbia River--to "Green Island". We drove through the water a little bit and Dallie's favorite was playing in the water itself. On our way back home, we stopped at Edwin Markham (my elementary school when I was little) to play on the toys.

The rest of the time we spent hanging out with Grandma and Aunt & Uncle Farkle and i got to visit with some of my aunts. We had a great time! Thanks for the great trip Gpa and Gma and everyone else involved!

I decided instead of staying at a hotel on the way home, that we would stop and spend some time with Kev & Alayna and the girls. I'm so glad we did! It has been WAY too long since we've seen them and the kids had so much fun together! They had a dance party, Kevin & Hayden had "Boy Time", they had a sleepover in the front room, played outside, and we went for a picnic down by the river. Thanks so much for letting us stop and invade you guys for the short time we were there on such short notice!
