Okay, so I have been thinking about this off and on ever since it happened. I am posting it more because it is something that I want to remember--because it is so funny!
I was sitting on the couch one day, and Jenna was sitting by me. I don't really remember what we were doing--homework with Cami or something. Anyways, out of the blue, Jenna started to rub my tummy.
She said, "Mommy, you're fat."
I thought I heard her right, but I wasn't sure, so I said, "What?"
She was very hesitant to answer (do you blame her ;), and when she did, she said, "Mommy, you're pretty."
Me: "Jenna, that's not what you said. What did you say???"
Jenna: "I said you're fat. (Very quickly now) but only because you have a baby in your tummy."
I was laughing so hard!!! She is such a funny kid! I just love the innocent things they say and do! What a blessing they are in my life! I am thinking about posting a funny kid something or other every week--that will be my goal!

Kids ARE funny. I teach the 4 year olds in primary and they say things like that too--of course I am not pregnant any more, so it is not quite as cute:) I remember that temple trip--I deserve to be a mutual leader--i really was horrible some times. Rosie is in young womans and she told me last time she called that it is Karma!! She is getting it all back to her.
That is so Jenna! She is such a funny little girl! :)

Clancey came up to me the other day, touched my belly and said, "Mom, when are you gonna stop being so fat?"
Kids can get away with that. Had it been Bruce he might have got a black eye.

Now if a husband were to say that ... Good thing we have kids around! :)
