Let the Updates Begin!!!

Alright! I'm here and I'm ready to FINALLY update this blog again! First of all, I want to say that the reason I went private was that I kept getting really weird chinese comments from the random people--I had no idea who they were. I didn't think much of it at first, but then it kept happening and it was starting to bother me. I kept worrying that maybe they were taking my pictures or I don't know, but you always have the worst things go through your mind, and I decided that maybe it was time...We'll see how it goes. If I don't like it, I'll switch back to open invitation.

Now...for the moment you've all been waiting for...updates!!!

First up--Dallie had a birthday, shout hooray! I can hardly believe my baby is 1! Where did last year go? It seriously flew by...but that couldn't have anything to do with having a baby, building a house, moving, getting settled, etc, etc, etc! She has been so different that the other kids. She hasn't been too smiley, but you can tell she watches everything you do and she is very smart! She is a good girl and we love her very, very much!
This is her on her actual birthday--I sat her in the chair to take a picture, but instead of being cooperative, she was trying to climb out--of course, because that is WAY more fun!

On her birthday we had a BBQ with some out of town friends and old neighbors (and I didn't take many pictures of that--only 2 and this is one of them!), so we celebrated her birthday on Sunday instead. We had grandma and grandpa Yearsley over for some cake and presents. We made Dallie a cupcake-cake...and she had too many presents to open to keep her interested--she was happy with the first one! I think she opened a book first, and was happy to just sit and look at it and climb all over the other boxes. Her main gifts were clothes, a ball popper--that she loves to dance to, a riding/walking toy, and I finally got her quilt sewn together!

And then we have the cake! Dallie liked the frosting a lot...and she ate some cake too. She liked it so much that it was finger-lickin' good! First birthdays are a lot of fun! Happy birthday Dallie!
