Shaylee

As we all know, Shaylee is here! We are so happy to have her! She's been fun for all of us...except trying to keep the sickies away is NOT so much fun because everyone just wants to love on her! Shay has been a pretty good baby, fussy at times, but pretty good. She usually has her fussy time around 8, and for the past few days has been going to bed around 11. She's been waking up twice to eat during the night and sleeps off and on during the day. I love that she is getting chubby cheeks--they are so much fun to kiss--and the "rubberband wrists" are making their appearance! I am amazed at how alert she is already and how strong she is! She holds her head up quite well already and stays awake and looks around a lot. She hasn't decided that she likes the swing too much yet, but we are hoping to convince her otherwise. :) Shaylee does love bathtime...until she has to get dressed and she just wants to eat! We just love her to pieces!



We had lots of help after she was born! Daddy was able to be home for 8 days, and Grandma Yearsley came and stayed for the first few days to help out. Grandma and Papa Bleazard came after that for about a week. And daddy was off work again for another 3 days. It was so nice to have the help, but hard to adjust once everyone was gone! Thank heavens for Cami--she is such a great big sister and a HUGE help to me!
