We did some more t-ball throughout the month of June. Hayden really enjoyed playing...until the last few games--then he was as ready to be done as I was, but it was fun while it lasted! It's always fun to watch the kids play and to watch them improve throughout the season.
Before summer started (okay back in hmmm...I think, like November of LAST YEAR), we made a list of things we wanted to do this summer. One of the things on the list was going to the sand dunes. We found a great day, packed up a picnic, and headed to the dunes. We ate and played in the sand! We made some sand angels, sand castles, ran up and down the hills, slid down the hills, and buried each other...and we ruined a camera in the process. :( Oh well! We had a back up, so we are good! Most importantly, we had fun together!
Ben took the older kids fishing one day--I don't remember why we didn't take the little girls, but we didn't go. They each caught a little fish and had a great time with dad! They also shot a little bit before they came home.
Ben took Jax out riding once or twice...or maybe even more (I just couldn't tell you otherwise) :)
And we had family dinner one Sunday near Chelsea's and Jared's birthdays--we sang "happy birthday", had candles, gifts, and then a water fight. We love those two!
