December Part 1 (pict heavy)

We went and chopped down our Christmas tree this year (since there wasn't much snow) I think the Saturday after Thanksgiving and decorated the tree on Sunday evening...and I don't think I took one picture. I was having too much fun with my family! I love the holidays and the spirit that comes with them!
Most of December was spent Christmas shopping when I was able (either in store or online).
On the 10th, Jenna had her Fall Showcase for gymnastics. She got to show off to everyone and did a great job! Once again, I have zero pictures (but Grandma Y does), because I forgot the camera. She did so well! We are so proud of her! She really enjoys gymnastics!
That same weekend Thomas and Jill came for a visit. We went to the gymnastics showcase and came home and played (while Ben tried to sleep).

Later that night we made gingerbread houses. The kids had so much fun making their own house!

Once we got the kids to bed, the adults decided to take a turn at making houses...and we had LOTS of fun!


On Sunday, our family was supposed to sing in sacrament meeting, but someone came down sick during the night...but I can't remember who, then someone else got sick that morning. Thomas and Jill went home...and then the rest of us got sick. It wasn't much fun!
Hayden's kindergarten class had a little concert during school. They sang their little hearts out! It was fun to watch!

We had several Christmas parties to attend--the ward party where Cami, Jenna and I sang

the Robinson party where we played minute-to-win-it games

and the INL BFF party (unfortunately no pictures). Lots of fun for everyone!
We had a fun visit with the Chaffins, who came to town (from Texas--where all the cowboys live ha!) to spend Christmas with their family. We were lucky they were able to squeeze us in! We had lunch, the kids played, the adults visited, we took them to the arena to ride horses and all in all we had a great time! Thank you Chaffinis!
