We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Yearsleys--Grandma and Grandpa and Diana--out in Hamer. We had some yummy food and good company. It was a nice and relaxing day...the only thing that would have made it better would have been having Ben there with us, but he was scheduled to work this year. We have so many things to be thankful for--5 great, healthy kids, a job, the gospel, freedom, and so much more. I loved this quote:

We have so much to be thankful for, but how often do we really express that thanks?
I did do a little bit of shopping on Black Friday. I left after Ben got home from work (he was on nights) and I ran into my good friends Casie and Brad...Brad got sent home to bed and Casie and I shopped for a while. I really enjoy shopping with her--it's so much fun (and actually quite relaxing).
Black Friday night, Ben and I were able to attend The Forgotten Carols. Our friend, Casie, was singing in the choir this year. It is so good! We had a lot of fun! (Thank you Casie for getting us tickets...again! :)
